Jordan Hecox
Lead Pastor/Elder
Jordan serves as lead pastor of Gospel Joy Church. He is passionate about helping people find their greatest joy in Jesus through preaching, discipleship, and vision casting. He is a graduate of Bethlehem College and Seminary where God first gave him a heart for church planting and revitalization.
Jordan enjoys hiking the glorious trails around Mankato, reading all things Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, and making french toast for his kids. He and his wife, Lauren, have four children- Rubyanna, Lila, Ezra, and Hazel.

Tom Jackson
Elder
Tom Jackson serves as an elder at Gospel Joy Church. His responsibilities include leading worship services, teaching bible studies, and helping shepherd the flock with wisdom and patience.
Originally from Nashville Tennessee, Tom moved to Mankato in 1999 on assignment as a soil scientist for the USDA, a career that took him to every corner of Minnesota.
An avid reader of Puritan writings, Tom loves the church and serving the people of God.
Tom and his wife, Minnie, have two adult children.

Josiah Bennett
Pastoral Resident
Josiah serves as a Pastoral Resident at Gospel Joy Church. He is passionate about discipling believers towards giving their all for Christ in all of their life. He is excited about encouraging fathers and husbands to lead their households well. He encourages men to grow in their relationship with God and to develop their strengths in their careers. He is a graduate of Bethlehem College and a student at Forge Theological Seminary.
Josiah enjoys reading, writing, playing board games, and grilling. He and his wife, Caitey, have five children- Timothy, Eliora, Jonathan, Peter, and Charis.

Kyle Jackson
Pastoral Resident
Kyle serves as a Pastoral Resident at Gospel Joy Church. He has a deep love for God’s word, as it is the place where he discovered the treasures of Christ. Therefore, he finds joy in guiding others in mining the Scriptures and marveling at the glories of God in them.
Originally from Dallas Texas, God called Kyle and his family to Minnesota to attend Bethlehem Seminary, of which he is a graduate. Both his growth in Christlikeness and his call to ministry were heavily shaped by his involvement in college ministry. Therefore, he is eager to reach the students of Mankato with the joy of the gospel.
Kyle enjoys a hot cup of Earl Grey, a good book, and working with his hands. He and his wife Barbara have 2 children—Nora and Ian.
